old but nuhic

Here's a shot of Luna Nuhic from the band "Muscles" (go check em out) that I shot a while back and thought id share it with you. She actually came in to help me with a shoot that i was setting up for a large group of people in where they would be under exposed and one person in her position would be proper. The light was a snooted photogenic high and above camera right. In an ideal world i wanted the light to be softer for the shoot but for luna I think it turned out nice and contrasty. Its funny how when you go in to a shoot with one thing in mind but come out with something completely different. Thats life...............and im pumped on it!

Luke Tanner

Here's a little composition of a session Luke Tanner and I shot together. The end result is a fakie varial flip over the barrier but the rest is the story of what it took to get it. From getting there to him hurting himself to dealing with a lot of distraction. The lighting was simple but the timing was hard. Hope you enjoy.

Got my hands on a 4x5 for the first time in a while and man was i pumped to shoot with it. Its not the easiest and for this shot id have liked to get up a bit higher but im still stoked on it. enjoy.

polaroid

Found some old polaroids I shot as tests. If any of you know where i could find some more at a resonable price (4x5 polaroids) please let me know.

Toy camera = fun

Here are some images I shot with my holga and some 35mm film. The great thing about the holga is that there is no real thinking involved (well not a lot). Also if any of you get the chance to shoot 35 on a medium format camera, its really fun because it exposes the whole film including the edges. I love it and hope you all do too!

ambient noise

just developed an old roll of 220 and found some snap shots i took around the hood. Here's two shots of just landscapy things. Also ill throw in a couple portrait shots that i found in the same roll.

The next generation?

Im not one to usually post work other than my own but this one caught my eye as a definite wake up call. How can anyone believe that this is a good idea? I am speachless but my good friend scotty is not so i'll let you read his words cause they are better than mine. I hope you can read between the lines on this one cause its filled with scathing sarcasm.
